Approved Provider Standard for Organisations Providing Intergenerational Projects or Programmes

The Approved Provider Standard (APS) is a UK benchmark for organisations providing intergenerational programmes. It has been designed and developed by the Centre for Intergenerational Practice (CIP) to provide a realistic and credible basis for assessing core practice by organisations of any size, and to take account of the rich diversity of intergenerational programmes.

Please note that we are currently reviewing the APS standard and process and will not be auditing the standard until further notice. We will relaunch once the update is complete - apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Why Apply?

The APS gives organisations a quality management framework that is needed to monitor and improve on the delivery of your intergenerational programmes of work. It is a recognition of good practice and organisations receive certification, listing in the CIP Intergenerational Directory and the use of the Approved Intergenerational Provider logo (shown below).
