Belfast Community Safety Partnership wants to recognise the contribution young people make to improving community safety in Belfast. Along with partners, who include Belfast City Council Youth Forum, Belfast District Policing Partnership, the Thomas Devlin Trust, Linking Generations NI and the Youth Justice Agency of Northern Ireland, Belfast Community Safety Partnership want to hear about individuals or groups of young people who have made a difference while working with a community group or a voluntary organisation or through a school.

Linking Generations NI is delighted to be involved as a partner supporting the intergenerational award and would urge all groups who have been working intergenerationally to get involved and nominate young contributors. The Young People's Award will be granted to the organisation that the young person has worked with, allowing that project to continue or develop. Any group with appropriate governance documents can receive an award.

The awards will be presented to the winners at an awards ceremony hosted by Jim Eastwood in Belfast Waterfront on Thursday 15 March 2012. To find out more about the awards, the categories for nomination and also to download nomination forms please click on the link here.
