Regional Networks
North West
13th January 2011 - last meeting held at The Studio, Lever Street, Manchester
A successful meeting was held with around 30 attendees taking part and a wide variety of intergenerational projects and programmes of work show-cased on the day.
To support the spread of intergenerational networks at a local level we asked specific questions to urge people to sign up and provide a platform for network meetings to continue in and around the North West:
- Would you be willing to join a small planning group to support the organisation of meetings?
- Can you offer a venue free of charge?
- Would you like to present or lead on an activity?
- If you cannot organise a meeting would you be willing to help host on the day?
Several people signed up on the day to support various aspects above and for a steering group to organise network meetings across the North West. Please find below a list of those already signed up - the steering group needs at least one other member to support taking this work forward. If you are interested please contact generations@bjf.org.uk.
Please find below associated presentations and documents from the network meeting held on Thursday 13th January 2011, at The Studio, Lever Street, Manchester.
Many thanks to all of the presenters for offering their information and expertise on the day and inspire us to do even more.
