EMIL is an innovative Beth Johnson Foundation project, funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, that provides a general overview of the role and status of Intergenerational Learning that is already taking place or developing across Europe.

EMIL uses the existing expertise of partner organisations working in the field to create a learning network for organisations involved in intergenerational programmes across Europe. By supporting both a European and global networking strategy, EMIL provides a sustainable method for collecting, exchanging and distributing ideas and resources in the field.

Representing numerous European organisations and a range of partnerships from over 25 European countries, EMIL collectively has the ability to influence the intergenerational practice debate.
