The Centre for Intergenerational Practice is the UK leader in developing intergenerational work. Although much of our work focusses on the UK, we also promote intergenerational practice internationally

The Beth Johnson Foundation is a founding member, and hosts, the Intergenerational Consortium for Intergenerational Programmes (ICIP) - the only organisation focused solely on promoting intergenerational work from a global perspective.

Our European Map of Intergenerational Learning (EMIL) is a network and website that will bring together expertise from over 25 countries; read more on the Europe pages.

Beth Johnson Foundation sits on the Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice (SCIP) Steering Group and works in partnership with SCIP to develop resources, deliver training, and develop specific areas of IP.

  • "I have been in touch with CIP since its inception. It has been a decade in which CIP has led our joint effort to expand the intergenerational field. Nowadays, CIP has become an international lighthouse for anyone sailing the ocean of intergenerational issues and practices".
