Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice
Generations Working Together
The Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice conducts research, provides information, commission's projects, delivers support and encourages involvement to benefit all of Scotland's generations, by working, learning, volunteering and living together. The idea for the Centre was developed as part of a Scottish Government consultation exploring issues faced by Scottish society in meeting the challenges of an ageing population.
The Beth Johnson Foundation's Chief Executive, Alan Hatton-Yeo, is the expert lead on intergenerational practice and sits on the Scottish Centre's steering group.
